About the lexicon on the Neris River

The authors of the Lexicon of Musicians of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth of the 18th Century promoted the idea of the publication in Vilnius during the 24th International Scientific Conference The Grand Duchy of Lithuania in the 18th Century. Creators. Reformers. Visionaries. The conference dedicated to the 260th anniversary of the birth of Michał Kleofas Ogiński and the 250th anniversary of the birth of Antoni Henryk Radziwiłł (XXIV tarptautinė mokslinė konferencija Lietuvos Didžioji Kunigaikštystė XVIII amžiuje. Kūrėjai. Reformatoriai. Vizionieriai. Skiriama 260-osioms Mykolo Kleopo Oginskio ir 250-osioms Antano Henriko Radvilos gimimo metinėms).

Four authors of the lexicon entries took part in a meeting of historians, philologists, art historians, theatre scholars, and musicologists held at the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania on December 3–5, 2025. The participants were introduced to the figures of Michał Kazimierz Ogiński (Irena Bieńkowska), Michał Kleofas Ogiński (Sviatlena Niemahaj), and Wojciech Dankowski (Alina Mądry and Alicja Dacevič).
