Compositions from 300 years ago sound again!

We are pleased to announce that the recently discovered music of composers featured in our “Lexicon” resounded within the historic interiors of the Bieliński Palace in Otwock Wielki!

We invite you to listen to the Concerto in G major (movements I and III) by Johann Joachim Quantz and the Sonata for Violin and Basso in D minor (movements I and III) by Francesco Maria Cattaneo – works preserved in manuscripts from the court ensemble of Podhorce, the estate of the Rzewuski family.

The music is performed by the early music ensemble “Filatura di Musica,” featuring:

  • Magdalena Pilch – flute
  • Judyta Tupczyńska – violin
  • Beata Kozyra – violin
  • Małgorzata Feldgebel – viola
  • Karolina Szewczykowska – cello
  • Patrycja Domagalska-Kałuża – harpsichord

We warmly encourage you to watch the film on YouTube.
