The team of the Lexicon of musicians of Poland of the 18th century is still working intensively on creating content, but also – as declared – it is putting a lot of effort into popularizing the idea of this work. November this year was particularly busy in this respect. In the same month.

The idea of our work was also popularized in Gniezno during a meeting at the Archdiocesan Archives – Alan Woźniak reported on the work on the Dictionary to the participants.

On December 7-8, 2022, in the Column Hall of the Post-Museum Building of the University of Warsaw, a nationwide musicological conference “Lexicon of musicians of the 18th century Poland: centers – creators – works” was held. The event has promoted effects of the work of a group of scientists managed by prof. Irena Bieńkowska (Institute of Musicology, University of Warsaw) and  developed a project analyzing the musical heritage of Poland.
